
Central Heights USD 288 is excited to introduce the new principals. They will begin working officially for the district on July 1, 2018, but they will both be involved unofficially prior to that.
Lucas Matile will be the Lead 6-12 Principal. He is a Central Heights Graduate, and is currently the High School Principal at Prairie View.
Bob Risch will be the 6 -12 Assistant Principal. He will also be the Head High School Football Coach and will be in charge of the summer weights program. Bob is currently teaching and coaching in Garnett.

Central Heights is working with Jean Higbie to become a certified Trainer of Trainers for Red Cross First Aid and CPR. We are excited to work with Jean and The Red Cross on this project. This training will allow us to offer full First Aid and CPR certifications to many students, employees, and community patrons each year.
As part of the process we are offering an opportunity for ANYONE IN THE COMMUNITY to take the Red Cross First Aid Adult Pediatric CPR & AED class on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 8:00 to 4:00. (Space is limited tp 12 participants, so respond as soon as possible.)
The charge for this class will be $10. for anyone not a USD 288 employee.

6th Grade Parents:
Wednesday the 18th of April, all 6th grade students in Franklin County have been invited to the annual Earth Festival at the Fairgrounds in Ottawa. Your students need to be properly attired that day. We will go rain or shine. No flip flops allowed. Your student will need a sack lunch and something to drink. Water will not be provided by the Conservation District.
