📣 These middle schoolers have earned the coveted locker skins for this month! 📣 The white locker skins went to students who were nominated by their peers for always demonstrating the 2nd Habit from our Leader in Me curriculum: Begin with the end in mind. There were MANY students who nominated their peers, but the winners were: 6th Grade: McKinley Smith 7th Grade: Kinzie Matile (accepted by her cousin, Isaac Kraft) 8th Grade: Jayden Kennamer The charcoal locker skins went to three students who have consistently demonstrated positive traits and behaviors throughout their school day, and these students were nominated by their teachers for this Viking Valor Award. There were many nominations, but this month the skins went to: 6th Grade: Tyler Oberly 7th Grade: Adelyn Thao 8th Grade: Ian Kraemer 💛💙 Congratulations to everyone! We love to see our students doing such great things! Parents and Families, huge shoutout to YOU ALL for instilling these values in these kiddos. It's alway a great day to be a Viking!

Alright, Middle School Fam! Here we go again! Our 2nd Lunch on the Lawn event is coming! On November 15th, we would LOVE to invite you to have lunch with your student(s)! This time, we are changing up how we are doing payments (to make life easier on us all!). There will be 2 options: 1. Pay ahead of time: send in $4.45 with your student, they bring it to the office, and Mrs. Matile fills out a ticket to hand you when you arrive at the school on November 15th. 2. You pay Mrs. Matile as soon as you check in at the high school office (she will be set up right as you come in) and after you pay, you will receive a lunch ticket. You can then go through the line and give your ticket as payment. Please fill out the form to let us know you're coming! We can't wait to see you! https://forms.gle/kiBGAoxB6ohnBUba9

Our MS Leadership Class was tasked with hosting a Halloween Party for their Pre-K Lunch Buddies. The girls took this challenge and ran with it! They created games, goodie bags, and activities to give their buddies the best Halloween party. It is so special to watch the kids bond, and learn to lead the young students. These 5 girls are tremendous role models, and always help our buddies make the right decisions. Thank you so much to Mr. Wheat and Ms. Roehl for allowing us to be honorary pre-k students.
