The Hollywood Stars surprised the staff and students this morning. Actually, our kids are the STARS. We will begin Testing with the Stars tomorrow.

REVV (Reading Energized by Viking Volunteers)
Fifteen community members came to read with our first graders today. The REVV Readers visit CHES once a week for eight weeks in the Spring. They rotate through each of the three sections of first graders every 30 minutes. Maybe you can identify former teachers, bus drivers, and board members! Mrs.Linda Horstick has organized this program for many years.

The High School Academic Awards night has been moved from April 9 to May 16.

Third Graders Make Their Case
The Third Graders presented their research to Representative Samsel to make the WATERMELON the state fruit of Kansas.

State Representative Mark Samsel visited the STEM class today. He even showed up in a game! You just never know where you'll find him
next!
