Come to our concert tonight in the theater. MS Choirs perform at 6:30 p.m and HS Choirs perform at 7:30 p.m. We are celebrating music from the 70s-90s! Get ready to get some good tunes stuck in your head.


Mrs. Lickteig and Mrs. Tyner were interviewed by Mrs. Zillinger.
Mrs. Zillinger (Kansas Infinitec Coalition) is working with a branch of the Kansas Department of Education to improve parent engagement through technology.

Historical Wax Museum at CHES
Benjamin Franklin (Ben Wuertz), Harriet Tubman (Alexis Wiser), Clara Barton (Dalainy Coble), and Fredrick Douglass (Carly Matile) were just a few of the figures in the third grade wax museum. The students were dressed in costume and told visitors about "their" contributions to our country.

Farm Bureau volunteers came to CHES and made Bread in a Bag with our third graders. Thank You -
Sharon Geiss, Lacey Wray, Debbie Dunn, and Elaine Dunbar!

Carrington and Sierra hosted their own art show this evening showcasing drawings they have created the last few months. Each shown beside their personal favorites. Nice job ladies!




Then we went into the gym and had fun playing some baseball!!!!





The baseball team was lucky enough to get to hang out with the Life Program last night! Senior Matt Cubit and Dakota Beers read a book to the whole group!


What an amazing Evening with the Arts it was tonight! Thank you SO much for coming out to join us, support our students, and celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday. In the words of the man himself, we leave you with this: "Goodnight, goodnight! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow."

Central Heights' 1st Annual EVENING WITH THE ARTS is tomorrow (Tuesday the 23rd) at 6:30pm!!!
Come enjoy an evening of poetry, art, drama, dessert, coffee, and more! The event is free and will feature students from grades 6-12. Bring your families. Doors open at 6pm!

Going, going, gone!
Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Nilges built an indoor igloo from plastic milk containers. Then it became a giant sloth and now it is time to recycle the jugs. It was a great creation and the kids loved it!
