The Vikings delivered a full night of volleyball with plenty to cheer about across all three teams. From start to finish the energy in the gym was electric and our players left it all on the court. Thank you to everyone who came out to support! Great job, Vikings!

We’re excited to revamp our Watchdog Dad volunteer program! Viking Volunteers at Central Heights Elementary will now welcome moms, dads, grandparents, and legal guardians of our students! Join the Viking Volunteers and dedicate a day this school year to helping our students thrive!
You can sign up to become a Viking Volunteer during our first Lunch on the Lawn next Friday, September 19th, from 11:00 AM to 12:35 PM. It’s a great chance to learn more and sign up to volunteer! All volunteers will need to pass a background check, paperwork is available in the Elementary Office.

Our Vikings take on Northeast Arma and Uniontown in a triangular tonight. Varsity and JV will hit the court at 5 and 7, followed by the C team around 8 once the first court clears.

What a way to launch the fall season! This afternoon our school came together for a pep rally that had the gym rocking. Students from every fall activity were introduced and celebrated while our cheer, dance, and band kept the crowd moving and shouting. The highlight had to be the obstacle games with staff taking on the seniors… and yes, the staff claimed bragging rights this time around. The energy, the laughter, and the school pride set the stage for an unforgettable season ahead. A huge shoutout to our high school StuCo for planning such a spirited event and to everyone who brought the noise. Central Heights is ready. Let’s go Vikings… yell Blue and Gold! 💙💛

This week, Mr. Brown brought his Advisory class out to check out our IXL GOAL GETTERS Leaderboard, and there were some surprised faces when they saw that… 🥁 7th Grade is currently in the lead! 💪💙
👏 A huge shoutout to Emery Hughes, our first IXL BINGO board winner! She's been working hard and has earned herself a free tasty treat from Ottawa's Dairy Queen. Way to lead the way, Emery! 🍪🏆

Attached is an aerial view of the Fort Scott Stadium located at Fort Scott High School where we will play. Parking will be primarily in the parking lots on the south on each side of the high school. The only gate entrance for patrons will be in the center of the home stadium bleachers on the west.

Due to current field conditions making Jayhawk Linn's field temporarily unsafe for play, this week’s away football game will be moved to Fort Scott High School with a 7:00 PM start time.
